Foundation
Technology – in all its complexity and detail – is a relatively simple part of a data platform project. The really difficult part comes later, in the shape of people and opportunity.
In the second step – Foundation – the focus is on creating a stable and robust technical foundation for the rest of the project to rest on. We choose components based on business-, technical- and financial requirements, as well as current skillset.
Through our many workshops we make sure that the people that will maintain and develop the platform after the project is completed have the right skills to take on the challenge.
People
The third step is all about people. At Analytics Masterminds, we think that technology is relatively easy and that the people and processes tend to be the hard aspect of a project – especially as the technical platform rarely is the goal in itself!
In this step we focus on making sure the users have the right skills, the right support and develop good data literacy. It does not really matter if the platform itself contains amazing data unless the users understand
how to make the most of it all. We offer several training workshops of both technical and non-technical nature.
Enablement
The fourth step is all about enablement. It should be easy to do things right, and it should be difficult to do things wrong – through governance processes, change management, and workflows we ensure not only good information quality, but also a robust and consistent way of working.
